Since its inception, the Asturian Artists Archive has sought to be a tool for mapping Asturian culture, housing material from nearly 200 artists active from 1950 to the present day.
Equipped with specialised furniture, LABoral has a physical space dedicated to the Artists’ Archive, which aims to become a place of consultation and work for researchers, students and professionals. Access is available upon request, ensuring a comfortable and specialised environment.
The Archive combines material donated by artists and institutions—catalogues, magazines, brochures, invitations, press clippings and audiovisual material—and digital access available through two computers inside the room. Detailed information is available for consultation on each artist.
Beyond accumulating documentation, LABoral promotes the activation of the Archive through archiving, communication and exhibition policies.
