Through the ‘Urban Routes’ project we will walk around Gijón/Xixón observing and analysing its buildings and unique constructions.
Every month during 2025 we will explore the different neighbourhoods and parishes of the municipality of Gijón with routes in which we will tell and describe what we see and contextualise the different periods and styles that make up the urban grid of Gijón, the peri-urban environment and the rural landscape of the municipality.
Approximately an hour and a half of activity to achieve the aim of the project, which is to look around us and explore our surroundings, enjoy the present and understand the future of the urban geography that is developing in Gijón.
