Digital, pixelated image of a computer-generated forest.
Monochrome painting on pine wood panel, 20×20 cm.
Pixelated Forest uses digital technology alongside traditional artistic expression. On the one hand, the pixelated image of a computer-generated forest, composed of a palette of only 15 colours for a total of 120,000 pixels, is transformed into an immersive visual experience when projected in large format. On the other hand, each of the pixels becomes a hand-painted monochrome work, moving from the digital to the physical to celebrate the individuality of colours and the diversity of the ecosystem. This exhibition shows a small part of the entire project.
Each of the paintings can be purchased through the website www.bosquepixelado.com, either individually or as compositions. For every pixel sold, a tree will be planted in the province of Valencia, thus contributing to the reforestation of our forests.
Pixelated Forest is not only a work of art, but also a call for collaboration and action to protect the natural environment and contribute to a more sustainable and green future.
