Do not speak with your mouth full

Take part in this collective experience in which we will create an orchestra from the micro-sounds that surround us

11 November — 15 November 2025

Get ready for an unexpected, multi-sensory experience where you will explore how living beings “speak” without words.

Through sounds, flavours and textures, we will discover the subtle forms of communication that exist between species and materials. We will use micro-sound recordings, interactive sensors and techniques inspired by ASMR and Mukbang (food ASMR) to give voice to bodies, objects and substances that we do not normally hear.

This workshop proposes a reflection on the ear-stomach, listening-digestion relationship: How does the world enter our bodies and how do we transform it? We will form a more-than-human orchestra, a polyphony of sounds and identities that blur the boundaries of the human, inviting us to listen to the world around us in a different way.

Led by artist Coco Moya.

Activities must be booked in advance by contacting the education department at LABoral Centro de Arte via email: educacion@laboralcentrodearte.org, or telephone: 985 185 577.
