Activity within the White Night of Xixón 2022

High-grade fires is an invitation to get to know the territory through active experience. Through the senses, we will be able to access together to flavours, smells, textures and shapes that have taken their unique form from the particularities of Cerezales del Condado, Huarte and the surroundings of Gijón.

We will drink from collected clay pots and taste fermentation processes of cereals, legumes, edible flora and harvested foods. These processes arise from the desire to propose an active and participatory sensory experience between us and with other beings-more-than-human in encounters in which we eat, ingest and digest each other in order to assimilate each other and thus, perhaps, reach a mutual understanding.
