Workshop: Digital Comic

Program of activities on the key themes of art and technological culture, artistic practice and the dissemination of art and creation in educational establishments

Aimed at: Secondary Education

Duration: 2 hours approximately (1 hour workshop, 1 hour guided tour)

Groups: maximum of 50 students

Schedule: Wednesday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm.

We will create a digital comic with a very easy to use program in which text bubbles, dialog boxes and labels can be added to the photos taken by each group.

We will talk about the importance of the story and the narrative of the comic. The importance of character creation, body and gestures, sequencing and shots.  Students will use various digital tools to apply them in their own creations. The final result will be a digital comic that students will be able to take away converted into a pdf file.

Objectives:

– To use plastic language to represent emotions and feelings, experiences and ideas, contributing to communication, critical reflection and respect among individuals and groups.

– To use the diverse plastic and visual techniques, and the information and communication technologies to apply them in their own creations.

– Create the characters and dramatic characteristics of the story.

– To expose the different ideas about the story to tell, to elaborate it and to make a script.

– To verify the importance of the investigation and documentation for the creation of comics.

– To relate with other people participating in group activities with flexibility and responsibility, favoring dialogue, collaboration and communication.
