Projects selected in the second call

This second call, which started this past February 1, has launched 3 projects installed in the LABoral IMPULSA residence, which are:

Guillermo Román Méndez – Development of Textured Enamels

Project that develops a collection of ceramic glazes and pieces with different levels of texturing that respond to the demanding needs of professional use in restoration, and that at the same time present finishes with rich, irregular and unique textures. The objective is to obtain pieces that are co-protagonists of the culinary experience, a new tool to give character to the dish designed by the chef.

Diego Torres Morales – Container Radio

Interdisciplinary proposal consisting of a twenty-four-hour exclusively musical radio station located inside a maritime transport container, with a large part of its daytime programming in live streaming of audio and video over the Internet and the rest in replacement. It integrates the disciplines of digital creation, video-art and music, opens a collaborative conjunction within the framework of urban culture and a new format in our country, a twist and modernization of the concept of an independent radio station, it serves as a platform for artists to show their creations and collaboration with other artistic and musical proposals in the city.

Barenta Report – Multimedia training to eliminate the digital divide and social exclusion

Multimedia training project to eliminate the digital divide and social exclusion, through technological development and acting in the educational sphere, through agile and practical workshops where the use of a camera and a video editing program is taught. In this way, disadvantaged people can acquire digital and creative skills, as well as access a mode of expression linked to technology that integrates them into society and helps them not miss the train of the digital world.
