The European night of museums

14th to 15th may 2011

Within the week dedicated internationally to museums, the celebrations of the European Night of Museums include visits, presentation of the winners and finalists of the Haikús Eléctricos Poetry Prize, a perfopoetic action by Sofía Castañón and Juan Tizón, and concerts by Santi Balmés and klaus&kinski.

LABoral organizes after-hours guided tours of its exhibitions from 10 p.m. to 12 p.m.

9 p.m.: presentation of the winners and finalists of the Electric Haikús Poetry Prize. Sofía Castañón and Juan Tizón are part of the Asturian production company Sr. Paraguas that has visually interpreted the poems, now visual haikus. Next they will perform a perfopoetic action.

10 to 11:30 p.m.: Santi Balmés in acoustic. Santi Balmes is known for being the leader of Love of Lesbian, one of the most important groups on the national indie scene. His solo side is much less known and, at the same time, very surprising.

11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Klaus&Kinski in concert. klaus&kinski is a Spanish music group formed in Murcia. To date they have published two studio albums and an extended play, with which they have participated in numerous festivals.
