LABoral Centro de Arte is one of the partner institutions in the TABACALERA programme of grants for the creation, research and production of artistic projects in residence. This initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, funds the creation, research and production of artistic projects in the field of visual arts and contemporary creation through a residency in one of the partner institutions.
The call for applications also aims to encourage the mobility of creators and researchers, reduce territorial imbalance and promote new models of cultural cooperation.
This call promotes artistic residencies in different cultural centres in Spain, making TABACALERA the hub of a system of interaction between artistic institutions. This system supports creators, researchers and managers who contribute to revitalising the cultural sector from different parts of the country. It also encourages cooperation between regional and local entities and new emerging spaces in the cultural sphere.
