Public meeting Discursive prosthesis. The energy problem

Around David Ferrando Giraut’s project: nature and politics

3 July 2014

David Ferrando Giraut lives and works in London. He holds a BA in Fine Art from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and an MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College. In 2010 he was one of the eight video artists selected for the LUX Associate Artists Programme in London.

The round table is conceived as a meeting with different agents who have actively participated in the development of his work Prótesis discursiva (Una conversación alquímica), winner of the DKV Seguros – Álvarez Margaride Production Grant.

David Ferrando Giraut will moderate a debate on energy policy, climate and those questions raised by his work, with an emphasis on how he has worked from an artist’s point of view to respond to these questions.
