The mapaSONORU group has collaborated with fabLAB Asturias for the manufacture of DIY microphones.

TheDrone is an internal research project of fabLAB Asturias that uses electronics and open source software for the manufacture and design of automated flying devices called UAVs.

In September 2013, the possibility of incorporating audio capture and recording devices in drones was raised, complementing flight data visualisation and information gathering systems.

This Saturday, the group tests the first prototype. mapaSONORU and fabLAB Asturias will continue working on soundscape and drones in 2014.
