This workshop aims to bring children closer to the “do it yourself” philosophy by building model aeroplanes with digital fabrication techniques and experimental electronics at fabLAB Asturias.

In addition to learning about electronics, mechanics, aerodynamics and digital fabrication, the aim is to bring participants closer to a “make/use/repair/use” model of consumption as opposed to the current “buy/use/throw away”.

Participation in this workshop includes a kit with model aeroplane parts.

Aimed at: children from 7 to 14 years old. No previous knowledge is necessary.

Registration fee: 30 euros / 24 euros (with the Plataforma 0 annual membership card, which offers a 20% discount on courses and workshops, as well as free access to the Art Centre, access to Plataforma 0 and its resources with preferential rates for the use of equipment and machines).
