The fifth edition of Visual Electronics Laboratory, designed and conceived by the collective Datatron 0x3F, co-produced by Laboral City of Culture and with LABoral Art & Industrial Creation Center as the main sponsor, will provide an overview of the highest quality on the broad spectrum of styles present at the creation linked to electronic music.

The latest  sounds

Photek, Jóhann Jóhannsson, King Midas Sound, Jon Hopkins, Harmonic 313, Darkstar…. L.E.V. bet once again to show the variety in electronic music creation, with a line-up where you can find young talents as established artistsa. Researching into the evolution of the sound, in the development of new codes and languages that give us as result, the beginning of new music styles.

Audiovisual creation

At L.E.V. 2011 we can enjoy some of the latest audiovisual works. Canadian artist Herman Kolgen will show his latest high definition projects: “Inject” and “Dust”, the german visual collective Transforma, together with graphic designer Yro, will show “Asynthome”, an audiovisual project in which Transforma and YRO convert the stage into a laboratory of pure experimentation.

Call L.E.V. – ScannerFM

The Visual Electronic Laboratory and ScannerFM return to work together one year again by offering a call for artists to promote and facilitate the diffusion of new electronic music makers of Spain.

Deadline for submissions is March the 30th.
