Introduction to creative programming. AuLAB 2015-16

An educational innovation project, framed in the Contract-Program Program and developed by the General Directorate of Vocational Training, Curriculum Development and Educational Innovation of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Principality of Asturias in collaboration with LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.

AuLAB is proposed as a laboratory for reflection on teaching practice whose fundamental objectives are to improve teaching and learning processes, and develop professional skills.

The general objective of AuLAB is to provide students with the bases to understand how digital technology works, so present in their daily lives, while offering a more creative vision of its use, while proposing a work methodology that encourages creation. a flexible learning space that adapts to the needs of the students.

The programming node is based on 3 questions: What happens inside a computer? What is programming? What is programming for and where is programming present? A new relationship between the user and technological devices is thus encouraged, establishing a more critical approach and a change in their usability guidelines, laying the foundations for an active and integrated use of technology. The main tool to use in this node isScratchHowever, depending on the characteristics of each center and the evolution during the program, working with Arduino is also contemplated, combining electronics and programming.
