Interaction with Pure Data Workshop

6th to 9th march 2017

Pure Data is an open source, multiplatform program (linux, osx, windows), specially designed to facilitate the manipulation of sound, video, image and data in real time, as well as to develop interactive and/or generative projects. Miller Puckette developed it in the 90s for the creation of interactive computer music and multimedia works. Although Puckette is the main author of the software, Pd is an open source project and has a large base of developers working on new extensions to the program. It has a lot of flexibility for interaction with a wide variety of audiovisual media, protocols and interfaces.

In this workshop we will learn to generate interactive systems through object-oriented programming with Pure Data, starting from data control libraries, time, tables, audio, mathematics, arrays and Open GL in favor of the interaction and treatment of the subject. sound, audiovisual, interactive cameras and 3D environments.
