Installation

The sculptural piece by Carolina Caluori can be understood as a critical updating of the still life. The artist introduces two types of meat, one fresh without preservatives and the other purchased in a burger, into two glass jars. The decomposition time of the different meats will become an essential element of the project, which will be reflected in different graphics. But the concept goes beyond the still life genre, alluding to consumerism and current lifestyles, so close to junk food, a living without tasting.
