Elise Florentino

Plastic artist

Born in 1998

Plastic artist from Oviedo with Dominican roots. She studied at the Escuela De Arte De Oviedo and later graduated in Fine Arts at the Escuela de Diseño de Altos de Chavón in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Her education never leaves any of her lands.

Elise explores the emotional world through syncretism, drawing, sculpture, writing and humour. She also highlights her expression through bright colours that distract the viewer from what they are seeing, something like the songs of The Cure.

Elise has exhibited in several venues in Oviedo with Dido Carrero’s CERÚLEO project, was selected for the VIII edition of MMM, was in the II Semana Profesional del Arte de Oviedo, was selected for the XXXII MAPPA and is part of the Oviedo art collective Óvalo.
