The science behind the rainbow: make your own colour filter

Workshop in which we will see how a rainbow is formed in nature by playing with primary and secondary colours.

Until 30 June 2025

Have you ever wondered how rainbows are created? What are primary colours?

Aimed at: Primary education

Duration: 2 hours approximately (1 hour workshop, 1 hour guided tour)

Groups: maximum of 50 students

Timetable: Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm.

In this workshop, apart from answering your questions about this atmospheric phenomenon, we will create a device that will allow us to play with lights and colours. We will discover the primary and secondary colours, which in turn we will use for our device.

It is complemented by a guided tour of the Centre with emphasis on the exhibition Improbable Refractions, Synthetic Skies.
