The workshop will take place in a space suitable for the use of black light. Participants will be provided with white garments that will correspond to the different parts of the body. With the room in darkness and the black light on, the visual illusion will be created that the body parts with the white garments are moving on their own around the stage.
The guidelines for the activity will be as follows: there will be actions associated with each part of the body, so for example children who “are” legs will have to go out and perform those actions on stage. There will be a final action in which all workshop participants will be on stage and join the other “parts” to form a body.
We ask that, as far as possible, the children come dressed in dark clothes.
