Continuing with the Low Tech Monitor Architecture project, the ecoLAB working group travels to Somiedo to participate in a “teitado” workshop.
As part of the Ecomuseum’s activities, this workshop explains the traditional vegetal covering technique typical of the constructions of the Someda brañas, the “teitos”. Previously, the ecoLAB work group will carry out “the grazing”, the cutting and collection of the broom, the basic raw material for the construction of the vegetal roofs, with the aim of developing an example of this in the South Patio of LABoral.
