How does a machine move? And a person? In this art workshop for children aged 8 to 12, we will explore the idea of the automatic through drawing, movement and the creation of images. Drawing on the exhibition The Automatic Society, we will play with instructions, repetitions, lights, prints and stencils to discover to what extent we act like automata… and what makes us different.
The activity offers a participatory and experimental experience in which art serves as a tool for thinking, imagining and creating collectively. During the workshop, we will create automatic drawings, graphic interventions and printed flags inspired by the hybrid worlds—between the organic and the technological—found in the work of Félix Luque.
A space to observe, question, experiment and create out of curiosity.
