The activity consists of a guided tour of LABoral’s exhibitions combined with a workshop.
- Making a thaumatrope
It consists of a disc with two different images on both sides and a piece of string on each side of the disc. The two images are joined by stretching the string between the fingers, making the disc rotate and change sides rapidly. The rapid spinning produces optically, and by the principle of retinal persistence, the illusion that both images are together.
