Born in Gijón, 1973. Lives and works in Gijón

After graduating in etching and printmaking from the Applied Arts School of Oviedo, Eduardo Guerra focused his career on silkscreen printing and lithography as a teacher, advisor and engraver… Besides his current professional activity at his Maldita Impresión printshop, he also works artistically, mainly in the fields of graphic work and photography, in which he maintains a hands-on approach throughout the whole process. Guerra has taken part in many exhibitions at, among others, Museo de Bellas Artes de Asturias; Muestra de Artes Plásticas del Principado de Asturias; international art centres both in Spain and other countries; as well as in galleries like Espacio Líquido. He has been awarded scholarships and has won competitions such as the Production Grant from Gijón City Council’s Culture Foundation; Explum International Contemporary Art Competition; and AlNorte Contemporary Art.
