Drone Contact. Dance session with unmanned aerial vehicles.

During this workshop, we will share the research process that allows us to use dance as a mechanism of interaction with drones.

15 November 2014

We will work with elements of contemporary dance, especially Contact-Improvisation, which integrates the process of continuous listening with movement. The control of Flone with hand movement leaves a lot of room for improvisation and bodily creativity.

The performers must work simultaneously balancing and reversing the forces acting on their body and on the drone. This interplay of forces is the starting point for the exploration of movement through improvisation.

In collaboration with ESAD-Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Asturias.

Aimed at: people related to contemporary dance or contact improvisation, interested in the new possibilities of interaction offered by aerial vehicles. No previous experience is required.

Taught by: Lot Amorós

Participants: maximum 14.
