What is creAtIvA?
creAtIva magazine is the first magazine dedicated to digital creation with IAGen in Spain. It was born in December 2023 with the aim of highlighting this technology that is changing the world, giving prominence and a voice to the creators who work with it.
The issues are published every two months in English and Spanish, addressing different topics. Specifically, volume five of the magazine, co-published by LABoral, will focus on the concept of the ‘Anatomy of PROMPT’. It will analyse in depth the pros and cons of AI applied to creativity, but also what its implementation entails.
The new issue can be purchased in print format on Amazon or downloaded free of charge from LABoral’s website. It will be presented at El Centro de Arte in Gijón on November 7 as part of the Jornadas de Futuro y Tecnología, organised by LABoral and the City Council of Gijón.
The magazine is looking for 25 artists working with Generative Artificial Intelligence to participate in its next issue.
What is offered?
The magazine offers a total of seven pages to each selected creator, which will include ten representative images of their work; an individual curatorial text written by Víctor Velasco, the magazine’s director; a question about their way of working with the IAGen and a space to give visibility to their website and/or social networks.
In addition, they will be sent a digital copy and a printed copy of the magazine and will receive maximum publicity in all the media of creatIvA magazine and its collaborators. The selected creators will become part of the permanent IAGen creators section of the FineArtePrints website, where they will be able to sell their images in printed prints.
Deadlines
Deadline: From 6 to 22 (23:59h) September 2024.
Jury selection: From 23 to 27 September 2024. The selection and presentation of the 25 chosen profiles will be published on the website www.creativamagazine.com on 29 September and those selected will be informed individually.
Reception of selected material: From 29/09/24, to 4/10/24

Jury
The jury, made up of the director of Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Pablo de Soto, the founder of FineArtPrints and Galería color3arte, Juan Lamata, the founder of OpenPrompters, David J. Gil and the director of creAtIva Magazine, Víctor Velasco, will select a total of 25 creators to participate in the fifth issue of the magazine.
In accordance with the theme of this volume, the selection process will especially value the origin of the creation made with IA Generativa, the PROMPT or text that the artist writes to give instructions of what he/she wants to create.

Vol/5 ‘Anatomy of the PROMPT’ is an editorial project carried out in collaboration with the Galería color3arte / FineArtsPrints of Oviedo (where the printed work of the selected creators will be sold) and Foxylab New York (an online magazine that serves as a source of inspiration and discovery of creative talents worldwide). In addition, creAtIva is a sponsoring member of OpenPrompters Contest 2024.
