We are looking for proposals from the cultural and creative sphere with business projection.

LABoral IMPULSA is a collaboration between Gijón IMPULSA, one of Gijón City Council’s main instruments for supporting the development and growth of the municipality’s business fabric, and LABoral Centro de Arte, a cultural entity specialised in producing, disseminating and promoting access to cultural forms born from the creative use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).

LABoral IMPULSA wants to connect creativity with business, employment, development and social and environmental responsibility through this residency programme.

The programme offers space and work infrastructures (LABoral’s audiovisual and digital fabrication laboratories), accompaniment, guidance and support in the search for partners, grants and aid, as well as relevant connections in our local, national and international network of contacts and collaborations.

The programme is aimed at innovative initiatives related to creative and cultural industries of the digital era, proposing all kinds of new format projects, including those related to environmental technologies, health, food and their impact or influence on culture and society.

The residencies will have a maximum duration of 9 months and will start from May 2023.
