LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, as a centre for creation and production, runs a residency programme aimed at supporting creators from different disciplines. The calls that make up LABoral’s residency programme seek to promote creative and research processes and provide residents with work studios, creative spaces and support, thus facilitating the development of their projects while also enriching them within an exciting and constantly evolving artistic community.

LABoral has an established programme of activities, but it is also aware of the importance of opportunities for collaboration on projects arising in its immediate surroundings. It is also committed to consolidating and promoting the growth of the Asturian arts sector, with the CRA (Call for Artistic Residencies) residency programme being one of its main tools for contributing to this objective.

Purpose of the call:

The ultimate aim of this call is to support a maximum of 3 artistic projects: 2 projects for the studios and 1 project for the LABoratory of Sound.

These residencies require the use of the workspace at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial. For this call, two work studios and the sound laboratory will be available between 5 October 2026 and 30 January 2027.

Participants:

This call is open to individual creators or collectives from Asturias or residing in Asturias.

Available spaces:

– Studios: Workspaces of 30 m² with natural light and internet access.

– LABoratory of Sound: A 122 m² space equipped for musical work and fitted with various technical resources, including speakers, a mixing desk and microphones.

Resources:

– fabLAB: Digital fabrication laboratory where productions for resident artists are carried out.

– Library: A space of almost 100 m² with an extensive documentary collection specialising in art, available in several languages and accessible for consultation.

In addition to those mentioned above, LABoral has various other spaces that may be made available to residents depending on the needs that arise during the development of their projects.

Conditions:

LABoral will provide the spatial, technical and human resources required for each project, subject to the availability and schedule described in these terms and conditions.
