Call addressed to the Archive of Asturian Artists and the Gijón Creativo platform

The FICX and LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, with the collaboration of Gijón Creativo, call for a competition to give an identity to the new FICXLAB section of the Gijón International Film Festival, co-produced with LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.

The objective of this program is to give visibility to a type of images that, due to their intermediate position between visual arts and cinema, do not find a place in commercial theaters. And neither in other forums dedicated to cinema, more focused on narrative, almost literary forms.

DIRECTED TOArtists and designers born or residing in Asturias who belong to the Gijón Creativo platform or the LABoral Archive of Asturian Artists at the time of publication of these bases.

SUBMISSION DEADLINEProposals must be received before 12 midnight on Thursday, October 24, 2013

PRIZEThe prize is financially endowed with 800 gross euros.

The jury, made up of a representative from FICX, another from LABoral Centro de Arte and a member of the City Council team linked to the development of the Gijón Creativo project, has selected Imaginastur’s proposal as the winner of the call for the identity of the FICXLAB program.
