Lo Pati – Center d’Art de les Terres de l’Ebre and LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial convene a research residency for two weeks in the spring/summer of 2014 linked to experimental music and sound art

The LABoral / Lo Pati residency, convened by LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial and Lo Pati – Center d’Art de les Terres de l’Ebre, is aimed at hosting research projects linked to experimental music and sound art related to sound landscape of Asturias and the Ebre Delta. The recipients are creators residing in the Spanish state and the objective of the residency is to offer the artist the appropriate space and concentration conditions for their research, as well as having the natural reach of Asturias and the natural environment of the Ebre Delta. The result of the research will be presented in the LABoral Sound Laboratory and in the Lo Pati programming throughout 2014.

The stay will take place at the Residència d’Artistes Baladre and at Plataforma 0. Production Center of LABoral Centro de Arte. The residency includes accommodation for the artist and access to all the technical and human resources of both spaces. The investigation will last two weeks and will be carried out between June 9 and July 3, first in LABoral and then in Lo Pati.

The fees will amount to €500 gross. The artist will also have a production fund of €400 gross (€200 at each venue).

The result of the research will be presented in the LABoral Sound Laboratory and in the Lo Pati programming throughout 2014.
