Call to host artistic residencies for research and/or production by Asturian artists or artists residing in Asturias
LABoral has a stable schedule of activities but also wants to be open to opportunities for collaboration in projects that arise in its closest environment. Furthermore, it is the interest of the Art Center to contribute to the consolidation and growth of the Asturian artistic sector. To this end, it makes several spaces available to the community to host artistic residencies for research and/or production by Asturian artists or artists residing in Asturias.
The available spaces are the following:
– Recording and control room
Aimed at: musical groups or soloists from Asturias or residents in Asturias with a musical project that needs the space and resources of LABoral for its development. A maximum of 3 groups will be selected and will be able to use the space two days a week each for a maximum period of 6 months.
– Studio 1, studio 2 and room 1C
Aimed at: artists and creators who need a workspace to develop their artistic project. Three artists or artistic collectives will be selected to develop three projects for a maximum of 6 months.
Conditions
LABoral will provide the spatial, technical and human resources for each project, according to the availability and schedule described in the bases. LABoral may make its technical equipment available to the projects during the residency depending on their availability. The artists will have technical consultancy and access to the fabLAB Asturias two days a week. In return, the artist or collective undertakes to carry out an activity around the topic of their research or production during their residency or up to three months following it.
