30 polyester resin and fibreglass sculptures, LED lights and pedestals

In this installation, the artist creates an immersive device in which thirty dogs, positioned at varying heights, surround visitors and fix their gazes on them. The scene evokes a sense of constant surveillance: the visitor goes from being the observer to the observed.
The sculptures presented are raised on pedestals, creating an almost technological atmosphere that intensifies the feeling of structural surveillance. The dog, an ambivalent figure somewhere between protection and threat, embodies modern security and border procedures. The installation suggests that control is not a distant abstract notion but rather a direct experience which permeates our bodies and our daily lives.
