This work explores the concept of a boundary. A physical boundary, but also a moral one.

Here, the body appears as a place where trauma is etched. The experience remains imprinted upon it – in the muscles, the tissues and the nervous system. The body ceases to feel like one’s own; it becomes alien, uninhabitable. It feels as though it has been snatched away.

The body’s intimacy is organised into private spaces, with access restricted to an increasingly limited minority. What happens when this is breached? What happens when an object associated with intimacy and rest is violated? What happens when care and violence occupy the same space?

e n t r e repliegues se escucha explores the relationship between the body, intimacy and violence, becoming a space of tension. A mark on a body that has already been altered.

The abused body becomes an object that is stretched, gripped, restrained, folded, strained, subdued. Pushed to the limit. A force exerted upon it. Accumulated tension. A latent wound.
