Neon Flex lighting on methacrylate, transformers and structure
(2021-2026)

The central theme of this installation is a quote by Argentinian poet Alejandra Pizarnik, whose writing explored the boundaries between language, silence and vital intensity. Transformed into red neon, the quote abandons the intimate realm of poetry and physically occupies space as a luminous, powerful entity, particularly in this room at LABoral.
Light transforms the fragility of the rose into a radical gesture: to look until one’s eyes crumble, as Pizarnik puts it, involves sustaining attention, holding out, not looking away from something uncomfortable or painful. Here, rebellion isn’t framed as an epic outburst but rather an act of endurance.
