Skygaze is the musical project of Jaime Tellado. An architect by profession, a music fan from an early age, he began producing electronic music in 2007, under the alias Jimboo. It was not until April of this year, when he decided to name his current project, with which he has published on different netlabels, both Spanish (Neonized Records, SoullessLab Records, PyraFunk Records) and English (LoveOurRecords). He is also a member of the Gijón group Vaporazu, along with Alejando Santana (Huias) and Eduardo Romero.

The architect and musician Jaime Tellado, who develops his musical project under the name Skygaze, will remain in artistic residence at LABoral for six months. During this time, he will work on the composition, production and mastering of an EP for the Barcelona label Neonized Records.
The residency is also seen as a research process directed in two directions: on the one hand, on the Sound LAboratory side, it is about developing a series of tools, both software and hardware, always under the open paradigm; and on the live music side, the residency focuses on investigating how the visual can be related to the sound in a staging.
Skygaze has been selected in the public call opened by LABoral, whose objective is to make the Art Center available to the Asturian music scene as a tool for the production and dissemination of content.
Framed within a project of artistic residencies offered to bands, these residencies aim to make the Art Center available to the Asturian music scene, providing a tool for the production and dissemination of content. In addition to using the space, musicians participate in LABoral programming. So they will be able to get involved in exhibitions, workshops or open sessions, while their collaboration with other resident artists or participants in the Art Center program will be facilitated.
