Minerva began her studies in Art History at the University of Oviedo and, starting in 2012, she became involved in the textile sector through a project focused on custom designs for events and giving introductory classes in pattern making, after having trained both in custom and industrial and digital pattern making. Over time, she specializes in this sector and expands her knowledge of artisanal and digital textile printing through various workshops and work in textile screen printing workshops.

In addition, he is part of the organizing team of the ANDE National Fashion Awards for young designers for three calls, and collaborates in curating the exhibition on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the National Young Designers Contest, at the Oscar Niemeyer Art Center in 2013. .

Artistic concerns have always been present in Minerva and have led her to generate curiosity about the different means of expression that surround me, such as design, illustration, graphic arts, embroidery, among others. Therefore, training in any of these areas is permanent, always relying on day-to-day experience, teamwork and the ability to transmit everything learned.

Maeve LAB

Maeve Lab It is positioned as a space for experimentation and creative expression, where different techniques and languages ​​are combined to shape a unique imagination. Through design and pattern making, textile prototypes are created that adapt to different body types and needs, serving as a basis for the development of other techniques such as screen printing or embroidery. At all times, the handcrafted, intimate and experimental work is valued, which is reflected in each of the colors and shapes used in the different textile projects.

In addition, Maeve Lab is committed to the digital world and the possibilities it offers in terms of printing and collaborations with other designers and brands, creating exclusive and limited edition designs for both collections and fabrics. All this with the aim of reflecting a personal point of view through different complementary technical and informative disciplines.

With experience in various fields of the textile industry, Maeve Lab seeks to create a more personal project focused on communication and creative expression, always maintaining the passion for the textile world and all that it implies.
