El viaje de Dorothy is an adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Lyman Frank Baum in which, through staging and technological means, the artists perform a reinterpretation of the traditional storytelling.

Fantastique Company conceives the popular story as a show in which Dorothy’s interaction with videomapping, rear projections and Pop-Ups, helps the little ones feel inside the magical world of Oz. In this adaptation Dorothy is not only the main character, but becomes the narrator of her own story, supported by audiovisual projections, illustrations and animations.

La Fantanstique is committed to the integration of new models of scenic narration with digital technology. Since its foundation, it has been developing projects where the scenography takes an active role in the narration, through projected images and videomapping. The use of this technology provides a layer of meaning to the work, and complements the work of the actor, favoring a more immersive stage experience than in traditional image projection.
