Project in residence

Photography studio

The project involves setting up a photography studio run by Elena del Rivero, specialising in photo-novels, creative advertising photography and corporate portraiture. It is a venture that combines specialist photography services with an artistic approach centred on original visual storytelling. The studio aims to explore the photo-novel as a narrative format that is currently under-exploited but has great potential in the artistic, publishing and advertising sectors. Its unique selling point lies in combining commercial photography with a strong narrative element, offering a hybrid service that brings creativity and storytelling. In this way, it seeks to promote the photo-novel as a contemporary medium, giving it a fresh and innovative approach. The studio is currently in the development phase, with premises in Gijón scheduled to open in the coming months. The project aims to create an accessible cultural impact, connecting artistic practice with the community and fostering collaborations with national and international marketing agencies and publishers.
