After working for 14 years in the audiovisual and vfx industry, in 2014 Raúl and Eduardo began a period of research in immersive platforms, which culminated in several international projects for different European museums (Google Arts & Culture) and educational initiatives (Google expeditions).
They currently focus their work on researching new narratives and methods of volumetric capture oriented to digital worlds.
Project in residence
Dheritage (Digital Heritage) aims to enhance the value of Asturian-Spanish-international heritage, through accessibility to its digital version from any type of device (mobile, tablet, computer, VR glasses). It is a multiplatform project aimed at education and tourism, which through virtual, augmented and mixed reality provides users with access to three-dimensional, hyper-realistic spaces and experiences. Remarkable spaces and heritage previously scanned, where they can enjoy guided tours and historical stories, accompanied by additional information and period characters, both on Tablet-mobile and with immersive glasses.
The experience consists of a basic website, which presents the possibility of accessing the three-dimensional content, as well as offering download links to its VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) versions. The nature of this project is the materialisation of the union of several disciplines that have been timidly applied until now in the cultural-educational sector.
