DESATADO is a Spoken word project. Of words, rhythm, soul and expression. Of speaking. Of undoing misunderstandings in an age full of bad intentions. Of losing fear. Of untying one thing from another.

Spoken word is the blurred line that separates rap from poetry. It is not subject to the rhyme of rap, the poetic voice is not tied to solitude. That’s why it unties itself. It detaches itself. It uses the resources to transform itself, to grow, to descend, to shake. It uses rhythm and voice. It uses words and intention.

DESATADO wants to be a music and poetry project that speaks to every pore of the human being.

DESATADO is a human being tired of post-truth, tired of empty words, tired of inert actions that do not change the course of a world that is almost nostalgic every night because it changes every day. A world that tells you that stepping on women is the same as demanding their rights. That victim and executioner are the same.

DESATADO is the expression of fatigue, tiredness from a proactive, vindictive point of view, of recovering the struggle through words, empathy, catharsis, affection, care, a direct look and the most absolute contempt for injustice. A social cry on a regional and global level that seeks to tear apart the minds that are bound to a single understanding of the world.

DESATADO will be several spoken word pieces that will make up HILO, the album that comes out of this experiment. A sonorous approach to poetry from the point of view of sound art and sound experimentation.
