Project in residence
nside each of us, different worlds swing from one extreme to the other. From silence to scream. In the westernmost part of Asturias, almost three frontiers, languages, landscapes and enclosed silences come together. There are immense worlds coexisting in this remote cross-border region where people and spaces seem far apart, corroded by unease, depopulation, abandonment and despair. In this same context of harshness and darkness, lichens, mosses and life grow.
The protagonist of this story is one of those links that unite apparently distant extremes. Because within the same person, within the same life, they can come to touch each other, come closer and find the bridges between noise, silence and everything in between.
