Alex Augier & Alba G. Corral

22 April 2019 – 02 May 2019

Alex Augier is a multidisciplinary musician and artist based in Paris. His work explores digital aesthetics from a musical and transversal point of view, including sound, visual, formal and spatial elements in his works.

These elements interact with the stage space in the form of audiovisual performances. Augier considers art as a specific creation process where each element (design, programming, music, visuals and technology) is linked in a singular and coherent way to be finally interpreted in a unique piece.

Alba G. Corral based in Catalunya (La Ràpita) is a visual artist, code developer and teacher. With a background in computer engineering, Corral has been creating art using software for the last decade. Her practice spans across live, video, digital media and installation. Through different artistic practices he explores abstract narratives.

His name has become known through his live audiovisual performances where he integrates coding and making, in collaboration with musicians in real time.

ex(O)

Alex Augier and the visual artist Alba G. Corral will premiere at the Teatro de La Laboral ex(O), the second part of a poetic audiovisual diptych inspired by the biological world. A living and evolving piece in which sound, image, space and time coexist. This project is a co-production of L.E.V. with Arcadi and La Muse en Circuit.

The artists will carry out a residency at LABoral Centro de Arte to prepare their work to be shown during LEV Festival 2019.
