Computer engineer and musician at heart, Abraham Toledano is an artist born in Asturias who explores borders between textures and digital atmospheres along with the heartbreaking energy of rock and roll.
In his 25 years of musical career he has participated in various independent projects where his participation stands out as voice, guitar and sequences of the group Volta, finalist of the prestigious Nuevas Bandas festival in Venezuela that placed singles such as Ayer and Ayer in the top 10 of alternative stations. Say goodbye.
Likewise, with the band Satélite he once again rotates singles such as: Poco a poco, Artificial, Para siempre, among others. In Venezuela he grew up under the influence of rock bands in Spanish such as Soda Stereo, among others that today largely mark his musical style. In 2000 he moved to the US where artists like AIR, Garbage, Bjork awakened his need to experiment with samplers, sequences and digital textures mixing with the sound of traditional rock. This is how he buys his first sequencer-synthesizer to use in his rock band.
Abraham returns to Asturias and decides to put together a new project, Perro Piloto, which captures the essence of Spanish rock from its roots and the paths offered by new technologies. With the support and part of the project Carlos Figarella (Guitar, Sintes, vocals) and a group of friends in “the world wide web” they seek to create new experiences.
Project in residence
Perro Piloto is an Indie Rock musical project that mixes sounds of conventional Rocknroll instruments, with sequences, environments and electronic beats influenced by Rock in Spanish with a direct and sometimes metaphorical message.
Perro Piloto is the driver of a ship that travels through space and time with different sounds, landscapes, sensations and with a crew willing to explore, experiment and display all that energy live.
