Vladan Joler

Vladan JolerVladan Joler (Serbia, 1977) is an academic, researcher and artist whose work combines critical design, data research, countercartography, investigative journalism, writing, data visualisation and other disciplines. He explores and visualises different technical and social aspects of algorithmic transparency, digital labour exploitation, invisible infrastructures and many other contemporary phenomena at the intersection of technology and society. He is co-founder of the SHARE Foundation and professor at the Department of New Media at the University of Novi Sad. His work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art.
