Grafic designer of the brand LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial
Fernando Gutiérrez, born in London to Spanish parents, studied graphic design at the London College of Printing. In 1993 he went to live in Spain for the first time and co-founded the design studio Grafica in Barcelona with Pablo Martin. He art directed and designed such publications as Colors (the Benetton magazine), EPS (El País sunday supplement), Tentaciones (El País weekly entertainment guide), and Matador (an international annual arts magazine co-founded with Titto Ferreira and Alberto Anaut), among many others. In 2000, he became a partner of the London office of Pentagram Design. In 2006 he started a new phase as head of his own studio in London, named ‘The studio of Fernando Gutierrez’. His current clients include the Prado Museum, the TATE gallery, elBulli, LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación (LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre), The Melnikov Garage (a new art centre in Moscow) and the Spanish winemaker Telmo Rodríguez.
