Lara Lesmes (Asturias, 1985) and Fredrik Hellberg (Sweden, 1982) run Space Popular, an architecture studio that explores the relationship between media and the built environment through research, design and artworks. Their work has been shown in exhibition spaces such as MAK in Vienna, MAXXI in Rome, Sir John Soane Museum in London, ArkDes in Stockholm and MMCA in Seoul.

Lesmes and Hellberg are professors at the Angewandte Architectural Institute in Vienna, and previously held academic positions at UCLA AUD in Los Angeles, the Architectural Association in London, the University of Toronto, and INDA Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
