Jara Rocha is a cultural mediationa agent.
He studied Humanities at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (NL).
She has collaborated in various projects in the field of audiovisual, contemporary art, new media and free culture such as Documenta Madrid, the Bergé Collection, LABtoLAB network and Medialab-Prado, where she coordinates the research group Gender and Technology. She also actively participates in masterDIWO.org, an independent project for the design of informal methodologies for self-directed and collaborative learning, which reflects on the cultural and contextual practice of cultural mediation.
He is currently developing a research project at the Universidad Carlos III (in the framework of the postgraduate course in Cultural Theory and Criticism), which reflects his interest in interfaces as performative spaces for the construction of experience, and devices for monitoring and managing it. In this research he tries to interweave notions of software studies, cultural studies, humanities and digital aesthetics.
