Begoña Torre Miguel

Begoña Torre Miguel (Mieres, 1989) holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Oviedo. Her doctoral thesis is dedicated to the theoretical field of spolium applied to the reuse of ancient sarcophagi in the Middle Ages and will be published this year by Steiner publishers. He has also published several articles, has curated (Los rostros de la monarquía asturiana, Fundación Municipal de Cultura de Oviedo-Universidad de Oviedo) and has organised several international symposia and congresses. Until 2023, she worked as a guide and cultural manager of the pre-Romanesque complex of Santianes de Pravia (Valdés-Salas Foundation). She currently works in documentation, writing and/or curating for different companies and cultural institutions.
