Thread , sewing , fabrics and photography are some of the materials that have been forming his work for nearly 10 years.
From installation to painting has tried to navigate autobiographical memory , a very feminine do with the act of sewing , or the collection of experiences of the everyday, trying to give the pieces a warm and tangible character.
The character that unifies the results of recent years is the manipulation of the stitching on fabric as the main material and a social and anthropological baggage tied to a “doing” feminine, common in many cultures.
Focusing on the last three years of production, through the drawings with thread is a review relevant past qualifying times in your life. Represents the intimate part of the memories and the pursuit of tacit memory, capturing the gestures images, people, landscapes and everyday situations.
The images come from photographic archives. The selection of some narrative describes a broken line , a set of shared experiences peppered with people who are in the memory . With these, in a way, the physical album again .
Displays a task done behind closed doors at home. It brings together education, by spaces , collection of the everyday, or the structuring of identity at various stages .
