A dialogue between Enar de Dios Rodríguez and Juan Pablo Pacheco Bejarano
Beginning with two investigations related to underwater worlds that have been materialised in the artistic works and critical texts of Juan Pablo Pacheco Bejarano and Enar de Dios Rodríguez, this dialogue will help to make known (recognise and ignore) much of the textual, visual and sensorial information that these two visual artists have collected and questioned in their artistic practices.
The conversation proposes a network of signs that lie on the seabed and in bodies of water in order to understand the relationships between new technologies, the production of space and scientific knowledge, colonialism and posthumanism.
The activity will take place in an online format.
This event will take place within the framework of the solo exhibition Liquid ground by Enar de Dios Rodríguez, the winning project of the VIII DKV Seguros-Álvarez Margaride Production Grant, jointly organised by LABoral Centro de Arte and the insurance company, which has been produced through a residency at LABoral’s production centre.
