What is the Cultural Rights Plan? How can it be translated into the Asturian context? On 27 January at 6 p.m., Jazmín Beirak, Director General of Cultural Rights at the Ministry of Culture, will address these questions in the session ‘Thinking about Cultural Rights from the Territory’ at LABoral Centro de Arte.

The event, which will be attended by Vanessa Gutiérrez, Minister of Culture, Language Policy and Sport, will begin with a brief presentation of the Cultural Rights Plan and will be followed by an open dialogue that will seek to situate this framework within the Asturian context. What challenges, practices and debates are currently affecting the cultural ecosystem of Asturias?

LABoral invites the public to come and participate by contributing their reflections on this Plan from a regional perspective. This is an activity in which we will reflect together on how cultural practices are produced, cared for and guaranteed, focusing on the cultural reality of Asturias and its territorial specificities.

The session is open to all interested parties and will take the form of a participatory dialogue.
